CHERRY NUT CHOCOLATE PIE | |
Double pie crust 2 cans cherry pie filling Almonds (sliced) 6 oz. chocolate chips Almond extract (1/2 tsp.) Line a deep dish (9 or 10 inch) with one pie crust. In a bowl mix the filling with the almond extract. Sprinkle the pie crust with sliced almonds. Next, sprinkle with half of the chips. Pour the filling over all and then spread the rest of the chips over the filling. Cover with a well vented top pie crust. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake 30-45 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Serve with ice cream. |
