9-DAY COLE SLAW 
3 lb. head cabbage
1 med. carrot
1 med. green pepper
1 med. onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. celery seed
1 c. salad oil
1 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar

Grate cabbage, carrot, green pepper and onion. Add salt, black pepper and celery seed. Bring salad oil, vinegar and sugar to a boil and immediately pour this over grated vegetables and seasonings. Chill in refrigerator. After 24 hours, this may be frozen. This slaw keeps for weeks.
