CRACKLING BREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. cracklings
3/4 tsp. salt
Boiling water

If the cracklings contain a great amount of fat, place them while still warm in a piece of cheese cloth and squeeze out part of the fat. Add all ingredients together with boiling water until you can handle with your hands. Add the cracklings. Shape into cakes; bake in oven at 400 degrees until cakes are done.
