STRAWBERRY PIE 
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
4 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
Pinch salt
3 1/2 tbsp. strawberry Jello (powder form)
3 pints strawberries
1 1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. (or more) lemon juice
1 (9 inch) precooked pie shell

Mix in saucepan, sugar, cornstarch, salt, lemon juice and water. Heat over medium fire until bubbles start, stir constantly. Add Jello stirring constantly. Allow mixture to thicken. Turn fire off. Add strawberries to mixture, stir to coat. Pour strawberry mixture into pie crust, cool immediately in refrigerator (minimum 2 hours). Serve chilled with whipped cream or ice cream.
