16 oz. plain M&M'S®
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coarsely chop 1 1/2 cups of M&M'S®. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. In large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients gradually. Add chopped M&M'S® and nuts.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 6-7 minutes. Remove from oven. Decorate cookies with remaining M&M'S®. Return to oven and bake for 3-5 minutes longer or until brown.
