JAPANESE CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 stick butter
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. oil
1 c. water

Mix in bowl 2 cups sugar and 2 cups flour. Put in pan and bring to boil and pour over above dry ingredients. Beat together and add to this mixture: 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes in a large sheet pan or longer if in regular large loaf pan. (Batter will be real thin, but it is okay.)

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk

Bring to a boil, take from heat. Add 1 box of powdered sugar, beat until smooth. Add 1/2 cup or more nuts and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over cake.
