MICROWAVE SPICY STUFFED PEPPERS 
4 lg. peppers
1 c. quick cook rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 lbs. lean beef
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Combine all ingredients. Clean and core peppers, spoon ingredients into peppers and place on microwave pie plate. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook on High 18 to 20 minutes. Remove wrap and top with Cheddar cheese if desired.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
