MICROWAVE - STUFFED PEPPERS
3/4 lb. ground chuck or round
1 c. brown rice
1/3 c. wild rice
1 med. onion, chopped
2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. grated horseradish (bottled)
7 med. to lg. green peppers
8-10 oz. shredded Cheddar or Mozzarella (depending upon taste)
Ground pepper to taste

Cook rices together according to brown rice directions.

Top and remove seeds from peppers. Combine ground round, rices, onion, 1 can of tomato sauce, horseradish and black pepper.

Fill 1/2 of each pepper with meat and rice mixture, sprinkle in some shredded cheese and continue to fill with the rest of the meat mixture. Place in microwave safe casserole with a cover. Pour 1 can of tomato sauce over the top of the peppers. Microwave on high for 13 minutes, turn dish 180 degrees and microwave for another 13 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
