STUFFED PEPPERS (MICROWAVE)
3 lg. green peppers
2 tbsp. water
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
3/4 c. cooked rice (brown rice)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. prepared mustard (Dijon mustard may be used)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery salt (opt.)
1/4 tsp. chili powder (opt.)
Pinch of garlic powder (opt.)
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Cut green peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Arrange in glass baking dish. Add water. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave 6 to 8 minutes, giving dish a 1/4 turn during cooking. Drain. Combine beef, 1/4 cup tomato sauce, rice, onion, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper (and optional ingredients if desired). Spoon mixture into green peppers. Pour remaining tomato sauce over meat mixture. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave 16 to 20 minutes, giving dish a 1/2 turn twice during cooking. Sprinkle cheese over meat. Cover and let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
