MICROWAVE STUFFED PEPPERS 
5 green peppers (tops removed & seeded)
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 c. Minute Rice
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
5 slices sharp cheddar cheese (opt.)

Put peppers in microwave ring mold or microwave pie plate. Mix ingredients except tomato sauce and cheese. Spoon into peppers. Pour tomato sauce over peppers and cover with plastic wrap. Cook 20 to 25 minutes or until peppers are tender and mixture is done. Remove plastic wrap and top each pepper with cheese if desired. Return plastic wrap and let stand 10 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
