SEA FOAM 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. Karo syrup

Boil until it spins a thread when dropped by spoon. Pour into 2 beaten egg whites, with a pinch of salt. This will look dark at first, but continue beating until it holds a firm shape when dropped by a teaspoon. Add vanilla, walnuts or coconut.
