OUR FAVORITE MEATLOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2/3 c. dry Italian bread crumbs
1 c. milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground sage
Dash pepper

SAUCE:

3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. dry mustard

Mix bread crumbs, milk, onion, beaten eggs and seasonings well. Add ground beef and mix well. Form into loaf and place in a slightly greased 9 x 12-inch pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Prepare sauce and spread over loaf. Continue baking for 30 minutes or until done.
