CINNAMON WREATH COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
2/3 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
3 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sherry
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter and 2/3 cup sugar; add egg and beat until light. Add flour and salt alternately with sherry; mix well.

Force through a pastry tube onto cookie sheets in the shape of 2 inch wreaths. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle warm cookies with 2 tablespoons sugar mixed with the cinnamon, mixed. Makes about 40.

OPTIONAL: Before baking put a couple of red hot cinnamon candies on each wreath.
