4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. milk
1 c. shortening (1/2 butter is better)
1 tsp. salt
1 heaping c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten eggs

Mix together all dry ingredients. Then add shortening and work together as you would pie dough until well mixed. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill for a while. Roll cookie cutters as you wish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet carefully and cool flat. Frost them.
