1/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. honey
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

2 + 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Chill dough. Roll out thick (1/4 inch); cut with cookie cutters. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. DO NOT BROWN. When cool, frost as desired.
