DOUBLE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. butter

Combine flour, sugar, soda and salt. Add butter and peanut butter, mix and add corn syrup and milk. Shape dough into a long roll, 2" in diameter, wrap in waxed paper and chill 2 to 3 hours until firm.

Unwrap roll and cut into 1/4" slices. Place half on ungreased cookie sheets. Spread each with peanut butter filling (See below). Top with remaining cookie slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

FILLING:

1/2 c. peanut butter
3/4 stick melted butter
2 c. powdered sugar

Combine and mix all 3 ingredients for the filling between cookies.
