DROP TEA CAKES 
2 1/2 c. plain sifted flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. butter flavoring

Sift dry ingredients. Cream butter, Crisco and add sugar and beat. Add vanilla and egg and beat. Then add flour and blend in milk. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased pan. Bake 375 degrees 9 to 10 minutes. Take out when edges turn brown.
