BOILED RAISIN CAKE 
2 c. raisins, boiled 20 minutes
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda in flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. hot juice of raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, then hot juice of raisins. Add the flour, soda, cinnamon, lastly raisins and nuts. Bake at 375 degrees about 35 minutes. Delicious with a peanut butter frosting.
