COTTAGE PUDDING | |
1/4 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. lemon extract 1 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2/3 c. milk 1. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add lemon extract and mix well. 2. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk; beat well. 3. Pour into an 8" square cake tin lined with waxed paper. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes. (May be served with fresh or canned fruit.) Serves 6. |
