CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
1/2 c. sugar
1 rounded tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and cornstarch thoroughly, add water and cook 3-5 minutes (until thick consistency), stir constantly. Add salt, butter and vanilla. It is very good served hot over ice cream. A good suggestion for dessert (a brownie, dip of vanilla ice cream, topped with this hot fudge sauce).
