PASTA WITH PESTO 
1/2 c. fresh basil leaves
1 clove garlic
1/3 c. pine nuts
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. olive oil
3/4 lb. thin spaghetti
1 tbsp. butter (about)

With food processor running, add garlic and process until minced. Add pine nuts and process until ground. Add basil leaves and pulse until well minced. Add oil while machine is running, then Parmesan until the pesto is smooth.

Cook spaghetti, drain and butter. Toss with pesto and add a few whole pine nuts and basil leaves as garnish. Serve with fresh ground pepper.
