1 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. pickling salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. water
1/3 c. beer

Bring the above to a boil. Pour over the pickles that have been packed tightly in a jar with dill on the bottom and top. Seal and hot water bath.
