1 stick butter
2 egg whites
1 c. brown sugar
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 lbs. pecans

Melt butter in a 9x13 pan in a 350 degree oven. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add brown sugar and salt. Fold in pecans. Spread out in buttered pan. Bake 1/2 hour and stir every 8 minutes. Cool and break apart. (These make great Christmas gifts.)
