BAKED CHEESE CAKE | |
1 1/2 lb. cream cheese 1 c. sour cream 1 c. heavy cream Vanilla wafers 1 c. sugar 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. vanilla 6 eggs, separated Small amount of powdered sugar mixed with sour cream or cherry or blueberry pie filling for topping. Beat egg whites. Refrigerate. Beat cream cheese well. Beat in egg yolks. Beat in sour cream, heavy cream, sugar, flour and vanilla, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually fold in egg whites. Crush vanilla wafers. Grease springform pan with butter. Spread crumbs over bottom. Spread cream mixture over crumbs. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Turn oven off. Leave in oven with door closed for 15 minutes. Leave oven door ajar for 45 minutes. Remove and cool. Refrigerate. |
