CHOCOLATE-PECAN CLUSTERS 
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 square unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. pecans

Cream butter and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy. Stir in egg and vanilla. Add chocolate and sifted dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes; cool on wire rack. Yields 3 dozen.
