HONEY WHOLE WHEAT BREAD 
3 1/2 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 pkgs. instant blend yeast
1 c. milk
1 c. water
1/2 c. honey
3 tbsp. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. salt

Combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, yeast and salt. Mix well.

In saucepan heat milk, water, honey, and shortening until warm (shortening does not have to melt). Add to flour mixture. Add eggs. Blend at low speed until moistened, 3 minutes at medium speed.

By hand gradually stir in remaining all-purpose flour to make a firm dough. Let rise in warm place until light and double, about 1 hour.

Divide in 2 parts on lightly floured board, roll and pat each half to fit loaf pans. Cover, let rise in warm place until double. Bake 350 degrees 35 to 40 minutes.
