LAZY PIEROGI 
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 med. size onions, chopped
1/2 lb. bacon, cut into sm. pieces
1 lb. 11 oz. and 16 oz. cans sauerkraut, drained but not rinsed (add more if you like sauerkraut)
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. caraway seed
1 1/2 lbs. spiral macaroni

Simmer sauerkraut, brown sugar, and caraway seed for 1/2 hour. Fry onions and bacon until bacon is crisp. Save a small amount of the bacon fat. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Add all ingredients to cooked macaroni, including bacon fat; salt and pepper to taste. Heat through thoroughly in a 350 degree oven. Flavor improves upon sitting. Serves a crowd.
