LAZY PIEROGI 
1 pkg. (8 oz.) spiral noodles
1 lb. bacon
1 med. chopped onion
8 oz. (or more) fresh mushrooms
1 lg. can sauerkraut, drained & rinsed
1 can mushroom soup

Fry cut up bacon and drain, reserving fat. Using 2 to 3 tablespoons reserved fat, saute onions and mushrooms until partially cooked, 5 minutes or so. Cook and drain noodles. Mix all ingredients into cooked noodles and place in well buttered casserole. Cover and bake 30 to 60 minutes in 325 degree oven or until cooked through and bubbling hot.

Our family makes this dish, but instead of noodles, we use potato dumplings and use chopped pork instead of bacon. And we cook on top of the stove rather than use the oven.
