PICKLED WALNUT MEATS 
2 lbs. walnut meats
1 pt. cider vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Bring sugar, cinnamon, vinegar to boil. Add walnuts and simmer 15 minutes. Pour into glass jars (leave 1/2 inch headspace). Process 10 minutes. "Unusual and very tasty served with game." Makes 2 pints.
