BEER CHEESE CROUTONS | |
Assemble at room temperature: 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated 3/4 c. beer 1/4 tsp. bottled hot sauce 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. dry mustard Mix well with electric mixer. Can be made ahead and refrigerated. Bring to room temperature before continuing. Slice baguettes of bread 1/4 inch thick. Spread with approximately 1/4 inch of cheese mixture. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick coating. Bake croutons at 400 degrees until bubbly. Makes about 50 croutons. |
