WAFFLES 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
2 egg whites
4 tbsp. shortening
1 3/4 c. milk

Sift dry ingredients together. Add egg yolks and milk and beat thoroughly. Add shortening. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter. Bake in waffle iron. This is good for winter suppers. Save leftover batter for breakfast. They are crisper the next morning.
