Not to sweet blackberry cobbler. Will make again with other fruits too. Will sprinkle with sugar as others suggested before baking. Great quick dessert.

Made this on 7-25-14. I used a stick of margarine (had no butter), 29 oz. can yellow cling sliced peaches, and doubles the batter ingredients (a reviewer's suggestion). I baked it in a 2 qt square glass dish and a little bit spilled over (nothing major) so I should have used a slightly larger dish or pan. But anyway, this cobbler came out FANTASTIC! I have a peach cobbler recipe that includes eggs and the peach syrup but this is a great recipe I can bake without worrying whether I have eggs or not. I like the crust also even the I can taste a saltiness on the crispy part. But in a weird way I like it. I didn't add any cinnamon because I wanted to make it as close to the recipe as I could. What I absolutely loved was the very pretty golden brown color. The cooking time was right on. I'll be making this again and again. Thanx for this lovely recipe.

Just made this for probably the bazillionth time, this time for my grandkids...They RAVED about it, of course! Easiest recipe on the planet, and sooooo good, every time. I can actually make this right off the top of my head now, and did blueberries today...switch up the fruit a lot...Thanks for my go-to recipe!

The only thing I would change next time is to double the recipe because it's that good. And so easy. We all loved it!
