ZESTY BISCUIT BEAR BAKE
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1.31 oz. pkg. sloppy joe seasoning mix (reserve 1 tbsp.)
16 oz. can pork & beans or baked beans
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. catsup
10 oz. can Hungry Jack refrigerated big flaky biscuits
1 1/2 oz. cheddar cheese, cut into 10 1/2 cubes

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In 10 inch oven proof skillet, brown ground beef and onion, drain. Reserve 1 tablespoon seasoning mix and set aside. Add remaining seasoning mix, beans, brown sugar and catsup to ground beef, heat until hot and bubbly.

Separate the biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. Place a cheese cube into the center of each biscuit. Fold dough over cheese, covering completely; seal well, shaping into balls. Roll each biscuit in reserve seasoning mix. Arrange biscuits on hot meat mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until deep golden brown. Serve together immediately. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
