CREAMED EGGS ON TOAST 
4 hard-cooked eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
Toast as required

Melt butter, flour, salt and milk, stirring until thick. Make toast, slice hard boiled eggs and put on toast, pour thicking over eggs. Also, melt cheese with thicking and pour over eggs.

This called for way too much salt. 1/2 a teaspoon would have been fine (even less maybe). It was very overpowering.
