CANDY PUDDING 
2 c. sugar
1 c. cream
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. candied red cherries
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook together sugar, cream and cream of tartar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cook until soft ball is formed in a cup of cold water. Set aside 2 minutes. Add vanilla and cherries. Knead 5 minutes. Shape in loaf 2" thick. Cover with chocolate fudge.

Chocolate Fudge to Pour Over Pudding: 2 cups sugar, 1 cup milk, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 squares chocolate and 1 teaspoon vanilla. When cooked to a soft ball stage, add vanilla. Beat until creamy. Pour over pudding loaf.
