ZUCCHINI SQUASH 
1 lg. onion, sliced & ringed
4 med. zucchini, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 lb. can (2 c.) tomatoes
Dash of pepper
1 tsp. crushed basil
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Saute onion in butter until slightly browned. Stir in zucchini and saute for a few minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Simmer for 20 minutes or until tender. Serves 6.
