BRANDIED SWEET POTATOES | |
2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 c. boiling water 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/3 c. brandy or brown sugar 2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 6 lg. sweet potatoes, boiled Mix cornstarch, salt, nutmeg, and sugar in a saucepan. Add boiling water and cook until thickened. Stir in brown sugar. Place potatoes in buttered casserole. Pour sauce on top. Cover casserole and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. |
