RAISIN PIE 
1 baked 9 inch pie shell

Combine:

1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water

Cook until raisins are soft. Mix in bowl: 2 c. milk 4 egg yolks (save whites)

Add to raisin mix and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add 2 lumps of butter and 2 teaspoons of vanilla.

Pour into pie shell. Beat egg whites, add 3 tablespoons sugar. Spread on pie and brown meringue. Cool.
