CHERRY CHEESE CAKE 
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese or 3 oz. size
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 pkg. Dream Whip
1 c. crushed nuts
1-2 cans cherry pie filling (2 cans makes prettier dessert)

Melt butter and mix with graham cracker crumbs. Press into baking dish or cake (loaf size) pan. Bake in preheated 400°F oven for 5 minutes.

Mix in large bowl Dream Whip according to package directions.

Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar together. Beat well. Add Dream Whip and beat. Add nuts if desired. Pour over cooled graham cracker crust. Top with cherry pie filling. Refrigerate.
