SPAGHETTI SQUASH 
1 spaghetti squash
1/3 c. water

Put whole (4 1/2 pounds) squash in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Microwave on high for 10 minutes. Halve squash lengthwise. Remove seeds and membrane. Place squash, cut side up, in same dish. Add water. Cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 12 minutes or until tender, giving dish 1/2 turn once. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes. Squash should feel tender when pierced with large fork and strands should start to pull away from shell. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
