SPAGHETTI SAUCE (MICROWAVE) 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. mild or hot Italian sausage
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 (29 oz.) cans tomato puree
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 med. onion, minced
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 c. parsley

Cut sausage links in half and cook covered with a paper towel on high 6 to 8 minutes. Slice. Cook ground beef, add onion and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, parsley, sugar and seasonings. Stir well and add tomato puree and sausage. Fill empty 6 ounce tomato paste can with water. Rinse all cans with this water and add to ingredients. Stir well and cover with a paper towel. Cook on high for 10 minutes. Stir and cook on 30% to 50% power to simmer for 1 hour.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
