CHICKEN A LA KING 
1/4 c. butter or chicken fat
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. milk
2 c. diced chicken
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms (drained)
1/4 c. chopped pimiento
1 can peas (drained)

In saucepan melt butter or chicken fat. Blend in flour and salt. Add chicken broth and milk at same time. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is thicken and bubbly.

Add chicken, mushrooms, pimiento and peas. Heat through. Serve on biscuits. Makes 6 servings.

Biscuits can be made by using a Jiffy or Bisquick mix.
