APPLE ROLLS WITH SAUCE 
DOUGH:

2 c. flour
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk or more

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Roll out on floured board. Spread with butter. Add a layer of chopped apples. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll like a jelly roll. Cut into inch slices. Place in buttered pan. Then add sauce. Bake 40 minutes. Serve with cream or ice cream.
