CARAMEL CHOCOLATE BROWNIES | |
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels 2/3 c. evaporated milk 1 (18 1/2 oz.) Swiss chocolate cake mix 3/4 c. melted butter 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped walnuts Soften caramels first and keep warm. Then combine the caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Melt (microwave on high). Combine cake mix, melted butter and rest of evaporated milk. Beat 2 minutes. Spread 1/2 batter in greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Cool 2 minutes. Spread caramel mixture. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Stir 1/2 walnuts into remaining butter and drop by teaspoonful over all. Sprinkle remaining walnuts. Bake 18 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool down. |
