CARAMEL CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 (18 1/2 oz.) Swiss chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

Soften caramels first and keep warm. Then combine the caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Melt (microwave on high). Combine cake mix, melted butter and rest of evaporated milk. Beat 2 minutes. Spread 1/2 batter in greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Cool 2 minutes. Spread caramel mixture. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Stir 1/2 walnuts into remaining butter and drop by teaspoonful over all. Sprinkle remaining walnuts. Bake 18 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool down.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
