OVEN BEEF STEW 
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lbs.meat
2 tbsp. shortening
2 (10 oz.) tomato soup
1 1/2 chopped onion
1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
4 med. potatoes
4 med. carrots
1/2 c. dry red wine or water

Add all ingredients to pan. Cook at 350 degrees until meat is tender.
