MIKE'S DEEP DISH BROWNIES 
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3/4 c. plain flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend butter, sugar and vanilla; add eggs and beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to egg mixture until well blended. Spread in a greased 8 inch square pan.

Bake at 350°F until brownies begin to pull away from edges of pan. Cool and cut in squares.
