CHICKEN SALAD ORIENTAL 
1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
1/2 c. green onions, sliced
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
3/4 lb. fresh snow pea pods, blanched
1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted
2 c. cooked chicken, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cook macaroni, drain. Combine macaroni, chicken, green onions and water chestnuts; toss well. Combine mayonnaise, soy sauce, ginger and pepper; stirring well. Fold into chicken mixture. Cover and chill chicken salad 2 hours. To serve, divide pea pods among 4 dishes. Top with chicken salad and sprinkle with almonds.
