MEATLOAF PIE | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. packaged, dry seasoned bread crumbs 1/4 lb. (1 c.) fresh mushrooms, chopped 1 lg. (1 c.) onion, chopped 1 med. (1/2 c.) carrot, shredded 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley 2 lg. eggs, lightly beaten 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1/8 tsp. pepper In large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Pat mixture into a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. Remove from oven; let pie rest 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with sliced fresh mushrooms and shredded carrot, if desired, or catsup - cheese - mounds of mashed potatoes. Use your imagination. |
