PECAN BRITTLE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. syrup
1/4 c. water
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter

Mix sugar, syrup, water, and pecans together in saucepan. Boil until it reaches 300 degrees. Stir in soda, vanilla, and butter. Remove from heat and pour into 3 greased pie pans. Do not spread with a spoon. Shake pans slightly to spread.
