SNOWY APRICOT BARS 
1 pkg. (6 oz.) dried apricots
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. Bisquick
2 c. brown sugar, packed
4 well beaten eggs
2/3 c. Bisquick
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Place apricots in 2 quart saucepan and cover with water. Simmer 10 minutes, uncovered. Drain and cool. Chop apricots and set aside. Cut butter in sugar and 2 1/2 cups Bisquick until crumbly. Pat in ungreased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Beat brown sugar and eggs together. Stir in apricots, 2/3 cup Bisquick, vanilla and nuts. Spread over baked layer. Bake another 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely. Cut in 2 inch bars and roll in powdered sugar.
